I am a bible reader and came across this advice recently.  I know that many don’t read and many are start their reading experience at very different stages in their lives.   I would like to pass these words on to any LPG readers who read both publications.

Mistakes in reading the Bible

1,         Don’t take texts out of words (put texts in its context)
2,         Understand the figure of speech”, if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out”, Matthew 18:9
3,         Understand the language of the bible
4,         Understand the historical and cultural contents of the Bible
5,         Do not read into the Bible what you want to read into the Bible
6,         Don’t read the Bible without asking for insight from the power of the Holy Spirit

Consider what the Bible says to the reader and how it applies to you today.
