Here is a memory for you…

I left junior school, then called Francombe Street School Deptford, in late 1951.   I took my 11+ examination in late 1950 / early 1951.    There was on particular maths question which I could not do then.  I would love to read the question again and see if I can do it now.    I wonder if any visitor to the LPG website would know of these papers, if they are available and from whom.  I have written to a n umber of newspapers but not had any success.  Can you help me? 

The school is now called Tidemill School but the building is more or less the same and so are the memories.
