LPG would like to thank AH for her comment because it gives us a good reason to bring a subject up which is the whole point of our organisation’s existence.

For the past 34 years our main objective has been to pass on all aspects of news which will be of interest and value to the pensioners of our Borough, and that aim is gradually being spread to a world-wide audience with the help of the electronic phase of our existence.

We all have them, but an idea will only ever be an idea unless we share them and it has to be said that without those ideas we would never have reached the industrial age let alone the electronic age that we live in now.  Regardless of whether we are happier with our world today, than we were when we first joined it, it has to be agreed that none of the things that we take for granted these days would have ever been invented if it was not for the fact that the ideas of the inventers were documented and that those inventers did not keep their thoughts to themselves.

LPG is not saying that everyone should become an inventor, but all our thoughts are vital to the make-up of our world, even the older thoughts, which is why we feel the need to help to share those ideas, whatever they are.

We are confident that our message is being seen a little more each day as more and more of the newly retired people join our section of society with the knowledge and ability needed to access us online.
