Morning stiffness.
22 Nov 2018
Dear LPG,
I remember dreading getting up in the mornings when I was a lot younger, and I know that about half of your readership also remember the days when they dreaded getting up in the mornings because of the symptoms that their childbearing years offered them. I have to say that I was glad to put all that behind me, but now that I am getting a little older, the mornings have again become a little testing for me and I know that I am not alone here either.
I am in my mid 60s and, as such, consider myself to be a relatively young pensioner at the moment, but I have to say that it is gradually getting a little bit more uncomfortable and taking me just a little bit longer to get up each morning. Since retiring one of my parents has decided to live with me. I have to say that between us there is a lot of morning talk about aches and pains and I do wonder if some of what I feel is the result of sympathetic, psychosomatic symptoms, but in the mornings I ache these days.
I have taken to having a look at what your website has to offer each morning and, in spite of all the really diverse subjects that contributor’s offer, I have observed that there is one thing that a lot of them have in common. The common denominator is that they tend to take a look at google when they want to know the answer to a question and I have learned to do the same. I have found a few solutions to the morning stiffness issue and felt the need to share them with LPG readers. I look forward to finding out if any of them help; especially as the weather turns colder again.
