Making sure they are kept tidy.

Dear LPG
I used to think that talking about death was a really macabre subject until someone really close to me passed away.
It happened a few months ago now and I have been back to visit but while doing so I got to thinking. I have been back once, and while I was making my way through the cemetery and looking at all the other memorials, I started to think about the doubts I have surrounding my children having the time or being geographically close enough to make sure that my grave is kept tidy when the time comes. More often than not our children have a habit of moving a lot further away than they used to and I also know that cemeteries are places that younger people pass in the car with a fleeting thought about the resting places of relatives that they know. It is not so long ago that I counted myself in that category.
Like many older people I am also aware that my ability to get out and about is on the decline and even though I can get to visit now, the knee replacement operation that I am waiting for is going to make a difference to how often I can go and how effectively I will be able to tidy up in the very near future.
With that thought in mind I googled and found that there is a website which links to an organisation that will do this work for you and I have asked LPG if they would add the links to the bottom of my message.
