Readers, who want to send us an idea for posting, are getting better at sharing them and are including more and more web pages and videos of interest but, whatever the link, they nearly always come with adverts and pop ups.  This is because most of the people offering that information are trying to promote their online cause which can often be getting you interested in buying something that they are selling, and that is fine as long as you really want to buy their wares.  However remember not to click on anything you don’t want to get involved with, or wait till the end of the promotional video, click on ‘skip ad’ as soon as you see it or find the ‘X’ which is not always at the top right hand corner of the screen these days.  Advertisers are getting cleverer at putting that cross in other corners or the screen of making sure that the box with the invitation to… ‘ask me later’, ‘close window’ or select … ‘No’  is disguised.

The main point is that behind all the adverts there is a lot of really good information to be learned.
