I was talking with one of my friends the other day and we got on to the subject of intelligence.  You can imagine that it was not long before the measuring began.  The conversation was friendly and did not change from that mood but the element of competition did sort of appear even though our chat did manage to end on a convivial note.

The internet is always the way to go if you have a question that you don’t want to lose face when asking, so that is  what I did, and I had no idea that there was so much information about how to check your IQ on line there.

You can understand why I am not going to let you know my score, but I did have a go and thought it might be something other readers might like to try.

I tried a couple of the online IQ tests and was not really surprised to find that I am a person with a pretty average brain really.  The thing that did surprise me though was the peculiar questions which are quite odd inasmuch as they don’t actually explain what you are supposed to do in so many words.  I found them quite unusual although you sort of get the hang of it as you go along.
