Dear LPG Readers,

We at LPG need to thank AV for sending us a timely reminder of ‘International Thank You Day’ which falls today, and indeed on January 11 each year.

Such a day of celebration gives us at LPG an opportunity to say thank you to everyone who reads our pages, be it every day or just from time to time.  We also want to thank those computer-savvy readers who pass the information we produce on to their neighbours, friends and family members who can no longer access our articles because they do not or cannot get to the internet by themselves.  We at LPG would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has taken the time to contribute to the continued production of this website.  As AV mentioned earlier this week, it is so easy to forget and take for granted the amount of effort and hard work that makes a website like this possible, and each and every thought, concern, story and observation is where each post starts.

As ever, our thanks come with an appeal, and ours is that those initial thoughts keep coming our way so that we can share them for all who are interested to read.   We would remind you that you don’t have to be able to type, write, or use the internet to  get your message across.  We at LPG will be happy to put your thoughts together and check the article with you before it goes live.  

We sincerely hope that all our readers have spent a little of the time since AV’s post contemplating ways of thanking a few of the personal unsung heroes that have shown their worth over the years, and we at LPG would again like to offer our heartfelt thanks to each and every one who has taken the time to telephone, write or email us with one of the many diverse subjects that we have had the privilege to post on our pages.
