Hi LPG

I like to think of  myself as a bit of a songwriter and all the things that are happening at the moment have put me into creative mode. I got inspired so have penned these lyrics to the tune of ‘Gonna Rise up Singing. It’s a brand new day’. There is no doubt that the  theme will be topical for quite a long time, (unfortunately) but perhaps it will cheer people up.

The rhythm should be the same as the original song but I’ve added extra vowel sounds to some of the words to make them more clearly ‘sing-able’.   So, for all those readers of your pages, who are also musicians and highly likely to become the subjects of an unwitting house arrest situation if things continue the way they are, I look forward to hearing a rendition or two on YouTube perhaps.  Failing that, putting the new words to the tune will give a few something to do and make you smile I hope…
