Dear LPG, 

Just in case you have not yet heard this bit of news, I want to alert any reader who has not yet heard the news about Iceland’s contribution to helping over 60s   during this time of rising costs.

The food store chain has decided that, from May 24th and on every Tuesday after, any shopper who is aged 60 and over will be entitled to a 10% discount on any item that they buy in store. No matter how few items you need to buy on the day.   

All shoppers need to do is show proof of their age (bus pass, driver’s license, passport etc.) to qualify) and the discount will apply to all their products.

So, if you can put off your shopping until Tuesday it may well be worth the wait.
