Spicy Beef Kebabs
Marinating meat before cooking is a great way to add more flavor and tenderize the meat at the same time.
Serves 2
Beef rump steak, trimmed - 300g
Marinade
Ground coriander - 1 tsp
Ground cumin - 1 tsp
Paprika - ½ tsp
Minced garlic - ½ tsp
Salt and pepper - To season
Vinegar - 2 tsp
Soy sauce - 1 tbsp
Olive oil - 2 tbsp
Cut beef rump into 2.5cm cubes.
Mix all marinade ingredients in a bowl and stir in beef. Cover and leave in the refrigerator for 6-8 hours.
Thread cubes onto metal skewers, packing cubes close together.
Grill in the oven, barbecue or mini-grill under high heat for 8-10 minutes, turning to brown all sides. Brush with remaining marinade during cooking.
Serving Suggestion: serve with a baked potato and cooked vegetables or a salad.
