Dear LPG,  

We all have to agree that anything in excess can have a negative effect no matter how positive it is intended to be, and that there are quite a few things that we forget that we need more of than others. 

The thought of Easter and the prospect of spring, new growth, and new life got me homing in on the things that we can afford to have a little more of in a rhyming way as I saw the world through my positivity glasses.  If   my poetic words can put a positive spin in the mind of even one reader this morning, I will feel that it has done its job… 


JUST ONE LITTLE BIT 

A little bit of cloud and a little bit of rain, 
Can block out the sunshine and down will come the rain. 
A little bit of gossip and a little bit of pride, 
Can do a lot of harm that cannot be rectified… 

A little bit of hatred and a little bit of lust, 
Can put our lives in danger and businesses go bust… 
A little bit of jealousy, of selfishness and greed, 
Can cause divisions and violence to those who are in need! 

But a little bit of kindness will open up the door, 
To life and love and friendships, 
That was never known before… 
A little bit of patience, of hope and faith and joy, 
Will make me the right candidate, 
For masters to employ.
