Nails Can Be Done at Homeā€¦

29 Jun 2018

Dear LPG

I recently looked back through some of the daily LPG news posts and homed in on an article you posted on the 30th November last year about looking good. I agree wholeheartedly with what the lady who wrote it said about the importance for some of making a real effort with appearance, and really empathise with her feelings about spending a little time on hands and nails.

Like HH, I am not able to get out of my house as easily as I used to, and I now have a degree of arthritis in my hands which limits what I can do quite a lot.  I find myself making hard work of so many things that I did without a second thought as few as  five years ago, and that does make me quite sad, but I feel that the fact that my nails look good does help me to accept the other limitations that have slowed down limiting what I can do.  I think that the resulting look of my hands after having my nails done is a tonic.  Just indulging in an hour or so of having them massaged and immersed in soothing creams and other preparations makes me feel good even if I am not going out somewhere special to show them off.

The reason for bringing this subject up again is that, at the end of that post there was an appeal asking that anyone who knows a nail technician who will visit could pass the details on.  Since I have been unable to get out and about I was lucky enough to meet Tana, who is a visiting technician and who I can recommend. Her contact telephone number is 07526 971 965.
