Turmeric without curry

02 Sep 2019

Dear LPG,

I am getting older and as this happens I have learned many things, the most severe of those lessons being that ‘with age comes pain’. I find that it is the pain that slows you down and that can wear you down as it slows you down.

I know that there is a lot of advice and information offered these days on the subject of managing it and working with it, but while taking that on board life still is more than a bit of a battle for me these days and I am always looking for ways to improve my lot.

I read an article posted on your site last January (►►►) which spurred me on to learn a bit more about the properties of Turmeric, ‘the yellow stuff in curry’, but I have to say that while I know that many like their Indian  takeaways, I am not a fan.

I think that that article told lots about what it does but I truly don’t really like curry.  That being the case; I wanted to find (and think that I may have) some alternative ways to take it, although I have yet to find out exactly what effect it will have on my aches and pains.

I have also found a little more information on what conditions and medications it will clash with and hope that this will be of use to readers.  I would value any other ideas that readers may have come across.
