Dear LPG Readers, 

We thought that this might be a time for an update from us.

Firstly, we would like to say we, like everyone in this world, know how difficult a time we are living through and that many readers have been ill and been in a position where they have been worried about friends and family, while the frustration of national lock-down is taking its toll.  Our aim, as always, is to provide some diversion via the kind communications that you offer each other by sharing them on the LPG website.

We at LPG would like to say thank you to all the people who are working to keep our world community going at a really difficult time, however large or small their contribution.   We also want to say a heartfelt thank you to all the contributors who have sent messages for us to share.  The one overriding comment that so many who see our site make is that there is so much diversity in the subjects covered in our posts. 

At the moment you will note that we are receiving a lot of messages concerned with covid-19 and we are posting those while some older letters and communications that we are receiving on other subjects are being somewhat side-lined. 

We are receiving quite a few messages on this subject while we have others reminding us of what it is like to be out and about and we feel that perhaps it is somewhat hard to be reminded about the great outdoors while we are so restricted.  So we are hoping that the messages pertaining to the world’s present situation might be of some value to our readers. 

We consequently ask that you are patient with us on two counts.  We hope that all the information and ideas that we have been asked to share are helping to give readers some varied perspectives on coronavirus related topics.  We welcome all that readers have to offer on that subject and hope that those messages are appreciated.  If you have sent us a message a while ago which you have not yet seen in print, please know that we will get them posted as soon as we can. 

We ask you to note that sometimes you will see posts about being out and meeting friends, even though we know that this is not possible at the moment, and we hope that these will not be upsetting in any way. 

We see the value in every message we are sent and hope that our readers will bear with us, although we want to remind everyone out there in LPG contributors land that we value every message we receive, and ask that you continue to offer them.
