Will your next vote be identified?

26 Feb 2024

Dear LPG,

I was watching TV the other day when I saw an advertisement that reminded me of the importance of having a Photo ID while going to the polling station. Without it, one cannot exercise their right to vote, and their voice won't be heard. As the elections are nearing, I want to remind voters that every vote counts. Therefore, it is crucial to carry a Photo ID on the voting day, which is March 7th for us in Lewisham.

If you have not arranged a postal vote yet, it can be an alternative option to avoid any hassles on voting day. Especially for older voters, postal voting can be a convenient way to cast their vote. I hope that sharing some links to get more information on the alternatives will be helpful.
