Checking out the past posts: How to sleep better as you get older

Dear LPG readers,
I am writing this message in the hope that you will post it on January 3rd. I was inspired when I discovered that, after the highs of Christmas and New Year and the mammoth anti-climax of getting back to the normality of January 2nd, January 3rd comes at a time when you think that things could not get any worse. The workers of the world have their jobs to look forward to but we retired people don’t even have that.
The whole Christmas Holiday provokes some questionable sleeping habits which have usually taken their toll after a fortnight of hardly getting any, but January 3rd is also the day when some parts of the world celebrate Festival of Sleep Day and way back in time, your website posted a message which is just as relevant today as it was when first written.
Someone wrote some very sensible words on the subject of making sure that we are getting the best sleep possible and, now that the winter holiday hype is all over that still rings true and I would ask that LPG posts it again today…
